Steyne Hotel Manly, NSW

I completed this mural, located in the beer garden of the Manly Steyne Hotel, in 2015. It is designed to resemble a retro postcard showing a girl wearing a 1950’s style two piece bathing costume, seated on the sandstone wall overlooking Manly beach. It also features a neon sign saying “Welcome to Manly” and has become an iconic meeting place for locals, visitors and tourists alike. Interestingly the painting is three stories high and required extensive use of scaffolding and a cherry picker during completion.
